MHD is a complete tuning solution for your N55 engine powered E-series BMW.
MHD Flasher is the first Android handheld application to bring ECU tuning and monitoring to the BMW N55 engine for E series. The MHD Flasher reveals the good margin of power BMW left on the table with the N55 while still retaining the sophistication of the original engine management program.→ Easy to install Connect any compatible Android device to your car using an MHD Wifi adapter, install one of the pre-purchased MHD maps and enjoy the power and performance benefits of the MHD maps by Twisted Tuning. → Keep an eye on the tuningMonitor your engine behavior using a configurable gauges layout to keep an eye on any of the 50+ engine monitors like oil temp, boost pressure, actual load or individual cylinder ignition timing. Activate the logging mode to save up to 50 monitors to a standard CSV file for later analysis. Track issues by reading the error codes, and delete them once resolved.→ Flash your ECU back to a stock anytime, as often as you need to. No ECU backup is needed.→ Custom tuning supportAs an alternative to built-in maps, many tuners can provide advanced custom mapping for those who have higher or special performance needs. Well I've got a 2011 335i msport, I've upgraded charge pipe, catless down pipe, 7.5 stepped intercooler, bms intake, and colder plugs. This app makes it run amazing. First flash took a while and I'd suggest the batter charger, second through hundredth flash take like 40 seconds. I usually run stage 2+ but tune down to just stage 1 for road trips. I also switch between burble setting from hard for meets to soft for daily. Only improvement I'd like to see Is antilag for n55e.

IPhone only. Here's why I tried with 2 different android devices to write a flash using my super license, neither worked with the orange wifi adapter. In fact the google phone I used crashed the DME, the car wouldn't even start. I finally came across a forum thread where someone ended up using their wife's iPhone and was successful in re establishing and fixing his broken DME. SO, my wife also has an iPhone, and you guessed it...no problem. Fixed the DME. Car runs again. That was sketchy!
Easy to use, everything I tested works, flashes fast and reliably, tunes work well (135i N55 M-Sport), + 100 ft lbs torque using 1+ & Shell 93, no other mods. Paired with WiFi MHD ODB. Things I like & use: Live gauges, enhanced cooling, no kick down, linear throttle, no burbles. For M-Sport with 1+ tune use linear throttle and turn on traction control, if not minimal pedal leads to DSC kicking in constantly and higher IAT (a BMW issue, not from this tool). Logging / graphing works well.
Easy to use. Tons of power added with just an OTS map. Love this app
Yes, I have a question about my gauges not working. When I plug my phone up to my car, I click on the data logging button. It then sometimes says "contacting dme" or "if screen doesn't clear in 1 minute restart phone." I have tried all of that and the gauges show up, but they do not move when I am driving. What should I do?
I can't get this app to read my codes. Everything seams to work but that one major deal so I can upload the maps I paid for. I'm super bummed.
So far MHD is awesome. Only issue I am having is MHD not updating my second vehicle's MHD license in my iphone. That means that I am not able to make any changes to my second car. Do I need to purchase another expensive license since I no longer have the original phone that I installed? It's very frustrating. Another issue is that the license number was never given to me so I am stuck for now. I wish there was a location where the license could be found easily and updated in the iPhone MHD app. Other than that I recommend it.
I have a manual car, the power delivery is poor, I don't think they have tested this tune on a manual car. Only really feel good power when you wot, kinda feel like I have wasted my money . I've driven an auto with MHD and you feel great power no matter the throttle position! Also need an update it's been a year
My car fails flashing multiple times, leaving my car inoperable.
